M. Jorjani holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mineral Processing from Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, as well as a Ph.D. in Hydrometallurgy, showcasing his commitment to advancing his field. His professional career includes serving as an Associate Professor at the Science and Research Branch of Azad University in Tehran from 1998 to 2016. During this time, he taught, mentored, and supervised graduate students specializing in mineral processing.
He has collaborated with various mining and engineering companies, addressing challenges in industries such as lithium, nickel, copper, rare earth elements, alumina, iron, zinc, gold, and coal. From August 2015 to December 2016, he worked as a visiting researcher in the Hydrometallurgy Research Group at Queen’s University, broadening his research perspectives and engaging with the academic community. Between 2017 and 2023, he served as an independent hydrometallurgist, providing expertise to clients in Canada and internationally.
Esmaeil’s research interests include hydrometallurgy, and biohydrometallurgy, highlighting his dedication to sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial practices. His additional experience in flotation and physical separation enhances his ability to deliver comprehensive solutions to industry challenges.
