Fields of application

Ore and industrial mineral
treatment department

The mission of the Centre technologique des résidus industriels (CTRI or Industrial Waste Technology Centre) is to offer innovative solutions to its mining and industrial partners so they can treat ore and secondary resources and to valorize mine tailing in a circular economy perspective. The CTRI offers multi-disciplinary expertise, technical support and access to many types of hi-tech equipment.

The CTRI is a member of the Elements08 Strategic Metals Excellence Centre. It contributes to the advancement of the critical and strategic minerals (CSM) field with its academic and industrial partners and develops hydrometallurgical processes adapted to the needs of its clients by helping them to remain competitive and to reduce their ecological footprint.
