In both Quebec and Canada, we find an abundance of biomass in available as well as potential quantities. The occasional nature of the availability of this resource threatens the bioenergy and bioproduct industry. Indeed, to qualify as sustainable, this emerging industry requires a steady supply of biomass. The CTRI proposes many research and innovation services that aim to support the competitiveness of the whole biomass supply chain. We consider biomass waste as the basis of joint products that can yield quite a return!
Made up of a group of research & development (R & D) experts and equipped with a modern infrastructure, the (B2B) Biomass, Bioenergy and Bioproduct Laboratory offers applied research and innovation services.
